Purkay Labs PM Joins 7X24 NE Board of Directors

On April 15, 2020, Purkay Labs’ Product Manager Aheli Purkayastha was unanimously voted into the 7x24 New England Chapter’s Board of Directors as the new Communications Director. Aheli previously served on the advisory board.

7x24 Exchange Mission: to be the leading knowledge exchange for those who design, build, operate and maintain mission-critical enterprise information infrastructures, 7x24 Exchange's goal is to improve end-to-end reliability by promoting dialogue among these groups. The New England Chapter of 7x24 has been providing education, mentoring and networking programs for Mission Critical/Data Center Professionals and our peers for many years. 

About Aheli:

Aheli Purkayastha is the Product Manager for Purkay Labs, a leading portable environmental monitoring company. Aheli focuses on energy efficiency strategies and has been featured in Processor Magazine, Capre Media and 7X24 Exchange Magazine. With her team, she has launched five products used by Fortune 500 | Tier 3/4 facilities in the US, Canada, Europe and the Middle East.

Prior to joining Purkay Labs, Aheli worked with the UN Security Council and Oxfam International. She spends her free time volunteering as a Team Leader for the IRS-sponsored VITA program for low-income families and serving on the committee of the Women in Mission Critical Organization (WiMCO), supporting women in technology. Aheli is the former co-chair for Bryn Mawr’s Graduates of the Last Decades (GOLD), which raised over $85k for the alumnae fund.

Aheli holds a B.A. from Bryn Mawr in Political Science and Art History and an M.Sc. from the University of Edinburgh in International Political Theory.
